This is for the everyday matters challenge... its my desk lamp I got from my parents before art school! Okey, so thats hummm, 20 years ago! and it still works, needs to have the bulb changed about every 5 years and has been across the country the long way...

I love the way that you have combined the pen and ink with the watercolour. It is darker than the usual wash and gives your lamp quite an impact.
Isn't it a shame that manufacturers feel the need to build in obselesence these days. You would never find a product with such longevity now.
